MeeGo Project Wins More Support

The MeeGo Project, which aims to make a single Linux-based, open source software platform out of separate Intel and Nokia projects, has gained a whole lot of supporters. A whopping 27, in fact, and there are some rather important companies among them.

Here's an alphabetical list of all the organizations that are now onboard: Acer, Amino, Asianux, Asus, BMW Group, Collabora, Ltd., CS2C, DeviceVM, EA Mobile, Gameloft, Hancom, Linpus, Maemo Community Council, Mandriva, Metasys, Miracle, MontaVista Software, Novell, PixArt, Red Flag, ST-Ericsson, Tencent, TurboLinux, VietSoftware, Wind River, WTEC, and Xandros.
